Project Details
- Project Title: “Bioremediation and recycling of parboiled rice-mill waste-effluent for sustainable hydroponics and indigenous fisheries by women”
- Project Goal:
This interdisciplinary project aims to harness microbial consortia for bioremediation of rice mill effluents, and recycle treated water for hydroponic agriculture and indigenous fisheries. A significant component involves working with local community women at the block level to ensure sustainable technology transfer and real-world applicability.
Position Details
Post: Project Assistant
Vacancy: 1
Salary: ₹20,000/- + 27% HRA per month
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as of 11th July 2025 (relaxable as per Govt. norms)
Job Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year; extendable based on performance
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or MVSc, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university
- Desirable:

Experience in bioremediation, microbial applications, or environmental biotechnology
