Advertisement for Walk-in-Interview
Subject: Appointment of various project posts in CIET-NCERT under the PAB and PAC approved projects.
The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) invites eligible candidates to fill up the following posts (Contractual) to work for the different projects under PAB and PAC. The selected candidates shall have to work at CIET-NCERT, New Delhi-110016 initially up to 31st March, 2026. These posts are purely temporary and are on contractual basis.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
- Experience pertaining to Research/ Teaching/ Training/ Extension Activities/ eContent Development in the area of educational technology /ICT/Media/New Media/AI-ML should be insisted upon in relation to school education.
- The candidate who claims the required experience needed for the particular position (having consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- and above) shall essentially submit, at the time of interview, an attested copy of the salary slip/ bank statement/ ITR where the experience forms as one of the essential eligibility conditions.
- Time spent by a candidate for pursuing M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degree shall not count as teaching or research experience for the purpose of eligibility for engagement/ employment.
- It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions in terms of (i) educational qualifications (ii) experience etc.
- These posts are purely temporary and posts may increase/decrease as per need and requirement of the project at any stage.
- Candidates already in a job should come with a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, without which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for this interview.
- Candidates should bring original documents (qualifications, experience) and a set of self-attested photocopy at the time of interview along with bio-data in support of their degree (qualifications) and experiences in the prescribed forms only (Form attached in Annexure-1).
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- If selected, candidates may be required to join immediately.
- Preference will be given for those who are having degree/diploma in education (Academic Post).
- Candidates should bring along with them their written and/or published work, if any, (including their Scripts, StoryBoards, Artwork, Multimedia, Graphics, Animation, Audio/Videos Advertisement/ Promos, Books, Journals, Thesis/ Dissertation Magazines, etc.).
- The number of posts may increase or decrease as per project requirements.

Project Specific Desirable Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or other concerned/ relevant/ allied subjects with 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Ph.D. in relevant field.
- Three years’ relevant experience.

Essential Qualification
- Education: Post-Graduation in relevant subjects with qualifications as per UGC Guidelines for Assistant Professor at entry level. (NET/SET/SLET in Education Qualified OR exempted from NET as per UGC regulations for Assistant Professor at entry level.)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in the relevant field and as per the requirement of the programme/project.
Desirable Qualification
- Ph. D. Degree in the relevant subject.
- Knowledge of Research Methodology and skills in development of research tools, collection and analysis of data, report writing etc.
- Working Knowledge of Office Management software Applications/ MS Office, SPSS and other software used in data Analysis/or relevant to subject/project.
- Experience in Data Handling/analysis, Report writing etc.
- Good Communication skill in English and Hindi.
- Exposure to ICT and AI. And undertaken online courses.
Age Limit: Not more than 45 yrs; in case of retired faculty members not more than 70 yrs (relaxation as per GoI norms).
Remuneration: Rs. 80,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
