Applications are invited for One (1) post of Senior Project Associate (SRA) funded by the Department of Biotechnology to work on the project entitled “Exploring the role of iron in lipogenesis in adipocytes”. The project is likely to be continued up to June 2028.
Qualifications
Essential: M.Sc. with at least four years of research experience or PhD in any branch of biological sciences with extensive experience in mammalian gene expression related to iron homeostasis, working experience with mammalian cell culture, and substantial experience in animal handling.
Desirable: At least one publication in the related area. Preference will be given to candidates with a publication related to gene regulation in iron homeostasis.
