Job Description:
Lilac Insights is seeking a skilled and motivated Molecular Biology to join our cutting-edge diagnostic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of molecular techniques with a focus on precision, quality, and adherence to best laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform Qualitative PCR, Quantitative (Real-Time) PCR, and PCR for STR chimerism.
• Conduct DNA sequencing, Fragment Analysis, and STR Chimerism Analysis.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative PCR data analysis.
• Ensure strict compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Understand and strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), including:
o Library preparation
o Running and managing sequencing platforms such as Thermo Ion Torrent and Illumina MGI G-400.
• Familiarity with NGS data analysis tools is an added advantage.
Candidate Profile:
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related life science field
• 2–4 years of wet lab experience in molecular diagnostics or biomedical research
• Proficiency in PCR, DNA sequencing, and NGS workflows
• Hands-on experience in NGS
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated lab environment independently and as part of a team
