Provilac is a leading name in the dairy industry, committed to delivering high-quality and innovative dairy products. We are expanding our R&D team and seeking a skilled Microbiologist – NPD to contribute to new product initiatives and ensure top-notch quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead microbiological activities in New Product Development (NPD) for dairy products.
- Design and execute microbiological testing protocols for product innovation.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards like HACCP, FSSC 22000, and ISO 22000.
- Conduct routine microbiological testing, media preparation, and aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA, and Production.
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, testing outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated with latest developments in food microbiology and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Food Science, or Food Microbiology.
- 3–5 years of experience in microbiology labs, preferably in dairy/food industry NPD & QC.
- Proficiency in microbiological testing, contamination control, and laboratory best practices.
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
