Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF-1) in a CSIR-sponsored project titled “Exploring the role of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R) signalling in escape from therapy-induced senescence: A novel therapeutic target to prevent adaptive resistance in breast cancers”. The project
is under the guidance of Dr. Anindita Chakrabarty at the Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi-NCR (Shiv Nadar IoE), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.Key Requirements
- Essential Qualification: Post-graduate degree in any area of life science with a National Level Test (NET, GATE) qualification.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and animal handling.
Fellowship: As per CSIR norms
Duration: 36 months, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability and performance.
Project Description
The project aims to examine the role of the insulin-like growth factor signalling pathway in the establishment of adaptive resistance through therapy-induced senescence in breast cancer.
