About the Department
Bangalore Global Development, part of Global Business Services, has evolved into a key unit at Novo Nordisk, supporting clinical development. The Centralised Monitoring Unit (CMU) within GBS oversees the medical monitoring of clinical trials worldwide, ensuring compliance and quality.
The Position
The Functional Programmer
role involves generating trial monitoring reports using tools like SQL, SAS, Power BI, and Python. Responsibilities include meeting stakeholder needs, developing data-driven reports, ensuring quality deliverables, and contributing to process improvements.Key Responsibilities:

Support in-house clinical operations for global clinical trials.

Manage Trial Master Files (TMF) and ensure ICH GCP compliance.

Handle Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) updates and subject tracking.

Assist with IRB submissions, SUSAR/DSUR tracking, and site communication.

Prepare site files, trial documents, and logistics (e.g., lab kits, diaries, IP kits).

Coordinate with clinical teams on monitoring visit preparation and follow-ups.
Qualifications
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or a related field. Equivalent qualifications or relevant professional certifications will also be considered.
- Over 3 years of industry experience, with a focus on clinical data management.
- Technical proficiency in computer systems and understanding of GxP principles.
- Experience in project management, team supervision, and effective communication.
- Advanced skills in programming languages like SAS, SQL, Power BI, or Python.
