Job Opening: Senior Research Fellow

Project Title: “Genetic dissection of rancidity and goitrogenic c-glycosyl flavone biosynthesis genes to enhance the shelf-life and nutritional quality of pearl millet flour.” (GAP-94)

Principal Investigator: Dr. Rupam Kumar Bhunia, Scientist-E

Position: Senior Research Fellow (One position)

Duration: Temporary basis for one year, extendable based on performance

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Life Science/Biotechnology/ Botany/Biochemistry with two years of research experience

Desirable Experience: HPLC and LC-MS for metabolite

analysis, proficiency in bioinformatics tools, experience in plant tissue culture, and Genome editing

Responsibilities: Quality improvement of pearl mille,t focusing on reducing goitrogenic compounds

Emoluments: Rs. 42000/- per month plus HRA

Age Limit: 32 Years

Job Opening: Project Assistant I

Project Title: “Designing novel proteins using deep learning approaches.” (NABI CORE)

Principal Investigator: Dr. Shrikant Mantri, Scientist-F

Position: Project Assistant I (One position)

Duration: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance

Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks

Desirable Experience: Experience in bioinformatics analyses, computational de novo protein design, and structural modeling

Emoluments: Rs. 20000/- per month plus HRA

Age Limit: 28 years
