Junior Scientific Writer Job Description
As a Junior Scientific Writer at Opella, you will support the end-to-end development
of specialized scientific content, assist with medical publication workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including medical science liaisons, product managers, and healthcare professionals. You will work closely with internal and external experts to ensure accurate, clear, and engaging communication of medical data and publications.Junior Scientific Writer Job – Key Responsibilities
- Content Development
- Draft and support publication materials: abstracts, posters, slide decks, manuscripts.
- Collaborate with scientific communication teams on publication planning and strategy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas and product portfolios.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with HCPs, MSLs, medical teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of content through tools like PromoMats / iEnvision.
- Performance & Process
- Assist with needs analysis and execution of medical communication plans.
- Continuously improve publication outputs based on feedback and market needs.
About You
- Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related disciplines.

Up to 2 years of experience in scientific content creation, either in industry or academia.
