We are currently looking for a Scientist in Research & Development (Downstream Process Development) to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary:
Immuneel is seeking an Engineer/Scientist with experience in downstream process development for viral vectors. The candidate must be adept at various downstream processes such as chromatography, tangential flow filtration, and more. Key responsibilities include driving projects through process development towards global IND applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design and execute downstream experiments for viral vectors, small molecules, and cell therapy products

Author and train team on MDRs, MTRs, MTPs, MQRs, and XOPs
-
Maintain laboratory notebooks (digital and paper-based) and coordinate data review and reporting

Manage reagent procurement and inventory as Scientist
-
Support routine cell culture and experimental workflows

Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment
-
Collaborate with application scientists for technical issues

Support MSAT and technology transfer initiatives
Primary Objectives

Develop robust downstream processes for viral vectors
-
Facilitate technology transfer for manufacturing processes as Scientist

Drive documentation aligned with quality and regulatory requirements

Lead experiments for internal and licensed programs
Technical Competencies Required
-
Hands-on experience in downstream process development
-
Expertise in bioprocessing, depth and tangential flow filtration, ion exchange chromatography, and sterile filtration as Scientist

Downstream development experience for viral vectors and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs)

Understanding of CQA, CPP, Process Validation, and CMC documentation

Familiarity with fill-finish operations and single-use systems

Education & Experience

Working Conditions for Scientist

Shift Timing: General Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or Post-Noon Shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Days Off: Two per week (not guaranteed on weekends)
