About the Role

As a Diagnostic Executive, you will drive biomarker testing adoption and support oncologists, pathologists, and diagnostic labs to ensure seamless access to critical molecular testing. Your role bridges the gap between medical, commercial, and operational teams to deliver high-impact solutions that change patients’ lives.
Diagnostic Executive Job Opportunity – Key Responsibilities
- Identify barriers to cancer biomarker testing in your territory and implement solutions with labs, kit vendors, and HCPs.
- Monitor testing rates, failure rates, and work to improve test access and quality.
- Build strong relationships with molecular pathologists, diagnostic suppliers, and laboratory decision-makers.
- Collaborate with medical affairs and sales teams to execute tactical plans that support diagnostic uptake.
- Support test infrastructure development in key oncology centers and work to eliminate diagnostic bottlenecks.
- Generate demand through education, advocacy, and awareness activities in coordination with stakeholders.
- Provide field insights to inform medical strategy and India-specific diagnostics planning.
- Ensure compliance with AstraZeneca SOPs, codes, and regulatory frameworks.
Diagnostic Executive Job Opportunity – Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Biotechnology, or Pharmacy
- Experience in molecular diagnostic sales/marketing; preferably in oncology
- Proficient in scientific communication across diverse stakeholders
- Ability to travel frequently (>50%) within territory
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of the oncology diagnostics and clinical trials landscape
- High execution focus with adaptability under pressure
- Familiarity with local diagnostic regulations and testing infrastructure
