Biological Sciences Job at IISER Kolkata – Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate degree in Biological Sciences from a recognized institution
Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic animal science and mouse anatomy knowledge
- Familiarity with cell culture techniques
- Understanding of physiology, histopathology, and immunohistochemistry
- Computer proficiency for record keeping, data analysis, reagent ordering, and lab documentation
- Candidates must not be allergic to animals
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain mouse colonies
- Assist in animal-based experiments including tissue harvesting
- Support tissue processing for histopathology and immunohistochemistry
- Perform routine administrative lab duties: stock entry, reagent ordering, bill processing
- Collaborate with research fellows and ensure proper lab operations
