Position Summary:
The Senior Specialist, International Patient Safety role at Bristol Myers Squibb involves ensuring robust and compliant safety and risk management across all territories in which BMS operates. The position requires execution of various pharmacovigilance activities in adherence to local regulations and BMS procedures under the direction of the IPS Leader (or designee).
Duties/Responsibilities for B.Sc Life Science Job:
- Contribute to risk management plans and support the implementation of Additional Risk Minimization measures.
- Manage safety mailbox and communications.
- Support Aggregate Report related activities.
- Maintain PV Awareness and related Training content.
- Implement Pharmacovigilance Agreements.
- Oversee ICSR activities, including literature screening and submissions to local Health Authorities and Ethics Committees.
- Manage Safety Data Quality activities and oversee PV-related documentation for Distributor/Local Representative Markets, among other responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship:
Functional and Managerial reporting lines into IPS.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with PV legislation and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a medical environment, among other requirements. University degree (preferably life science) or nursing qualification.
