Project Title: Biomarker-based Monitoring of Biomethanation for Enhanced Process Control and Product Yield
Project Description: This project aims to monitor biomethanation through biomarker-based techniques to enable real-time insights into microbial community dynamics and metabolic activities. Moving beyond conventional kinetic models, the study will employ advanced tools like fluorescent and gas-based reporter systems, high-throughput sequencing, and substrate-specific labeling.
Essential Qualification: M.Tech/ M.E/ M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Biotechnology/ Environmental Science from a recognized university, with > 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Fellowship: @ BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus: INR 37,000 – 42,000 + 24% HRA per month.
@ La Trobe University: Full-fee research scholarship, covering tuition fee. Return economy airfare and health insurance.
