Key Responsibilities:
• As a Plant Pathologist in our R&D department, your role will include:
• Profiling plant pathogens and building early-stage disease detection datasets
• Supporting field sampling, culturing, and diagnostics (ELISA, LAMP, LFA)
• Co-developing rapid, cost-effective detection tools and IPM-compliant solutions
• Staying updated on global phytosanitary/export norms (EU, US, Japan)
• Collaborating closely with agronomists, AI developers, and engineers on product innovation
• Working on field trials and validating results in real-world farm environments
Required Skills | Qualification:
• MSc in Plant Pathology / Microbiology / Plant Protection (Mandatory)
• Strong understanding of plant diseases, pathogen profiling, diagnostic tools & culturing techniques
• Bonus: Prior experience in lab/field research, export documentation, or regulatory work
• Proficiency in ELISA, LAMP, and LFA for pathogen detection
• Isolation and culturing of microbes from plant tissues
