ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- The candidate should have a first class Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry with a qualified National Eligibility Test–CSIR-UGC-NET/LS or DBT-BET/ ICMR/Fellowship/JEST/JGEEBILS or GATE.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Good Academic record with a First Class Master’s Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry.
- The candidate must have at least one year of documented experience in cell culture, small animal handling, and experimental virology, i.e. virus culturing, plaque assays and foci forming assays.
- Candidates who possess documented experience in a BSL-II level research lab will be given a distinct advantage in the selection process.
AGE
Below 28 years as on June 30, 2025. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms
EMOLUMENT
₹ 37,000/- + 16% HRA per month for candidates who are National Eligibility Tests qualified.
₹ 31,000/- + 16% HRA for candidates who are not qualified for the National Eligibility Exam.
Hostel Facilities will not be provided by RGCB.
DURATION
Initially for a period of one year and extendable till termination of the project, whichever is earlier, based on performance evaluation.
SELECTION PROCESS
- Applications should be submitted online.
- Candidates who are currently working in Government firms should send applications through the proper channel.
- The last date for receiving completed applications is June 30, 2025.
- If a candidate wishes to apply for different positions, separate applications should be submitted for each position. Selection for the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
Applications that are not in the prescribed format or without any proof of experience will be summarily rejected.
