Post Description
Pay Scale Level 10 (Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500) of Pay Matrix Total Emoluments Rs. 56,100 plus D.A. as admissible per month
Age Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central /UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)
A. Educational
M.Sc. or M.V.Sc. Degree in Bio-chemistry or Microbiology from a recognized University.
Note – Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
B. Experience
Three years experience in manufacturing of human biological products or in research in the field of medical Microbiology or Virology or Bio-chemistry or Immunology along with experience in Current Good Manufacturing Practices regulations and guidelines including experience of preparing and maintaining required documentation.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Ph.D in Bio-chemistry or Microbiology or Immunochemistry from a recognised University or Institute.
Duty(ies)
i. Will be overall incharge of Q.C Section with responsibilities to plan and execute already existing tests at different stages and include tests if added in future.
ii. Preparation and approval of documentation.
iii. Identification and carrying out of training and re-training of staff as and when required.
iv. Implementation of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) as required to achieve cGMP.
v. Conducting self-inspection at various stages.

Other Details: General Central Services, Group ‘A’ Gazetted. Non-Ministerial. This post is permanent.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
