Job Summary
We are looking for a scientific writer with a strong foundation in health economics, life sciences, or public health to develop evidence-based communications such as manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and Core Value Decks. This role supports the HEVA team’s mission to ensure Sanofi’s therapeutic products are understood, valued, and accessible across healthcare systems.
Scientific Writer Job at Sanofi – Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Publication Planning
- Create high-quality HEVA communication deliverables: manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks.
- Ensure alignment with global HEVA strategies and communication plans.
- Regularly update and maintain Core Value Decks and evidence syntheses for key products.
- Scientific Communication Strategy
- Act as a subject matter expert in therapeutic domains.
- Manage publication planning processes via iEnvision (Datavision/Matrix).
- Innovate and optimize evidence dissemination to support product access and reimbursement.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with global/local HEVA, RWE, and scientific communication teams.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to deliver accurate and timely outputs.
- Uphold compliance with Good Publication Practices (GPP) and SOPs.
Scientific Writer Job at Sanofi – Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (PhD, MD, PharmD, or MSc preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in scientific or medical writing (pharma/biotech/academic)
- Background in HEOR, public health, epidemiology, or RWE is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of publication strategy, evidence synthesis, value communication tools.
- Proficiency in tools like iEnvision, Datavision, or equivalent publication management systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in scientific publishing.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced global environment.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
