About the Job:
The Global R&D Strategy and Portfolio Management team at Sanofi focuses on providing leaders with objective and externally focused insights to drive informed R&D strategy and portfolio decisions. As a part of this team, the Competitive Intelligence group plays a crucial role in delivering competitive insights to support decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of CI analysts.

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and provide technical and operational guidance.

Partner with Portfolio Strategy CI leaders to define services and coordinate resources.

Oversee deliverables such as competitive landscapes, clinical data comparisons, event watchlists, conference coverage, and ad-hoc analyses.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensure quality and timely delivery of services.

Align team priorities with R&D objectives and therapeutic strategies.

Cooperate with Commercial CI teams to foster synergies.

Contribute to CI capability enhancement using digital tools and AI.
About You
Experience:
-
Strong experience in pharma/healthcare industry, innovative pharma CI, pipeline products, mechanisms of action, technology platforms, and clinical trials.

Preferable CI experience in Sanofi’s therapeutic areas (Immunology, Oncology, Neurology, Rare Diseases, Transplant, Cardiovascular/Metabolism) for R&D.

Landscaping experience in innovative spaces like engineered biologics, RNA therapeutics, gene therapies is a plus.
Soft Skills:

Proven leadership, autonomy, results orientation.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills for R&D.

Agility and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of drug development from discovery to launch.

Experience managing diverse CI requests.

Expertise in pharma data sources (Citeline, Cortellis, Evaluate).

Strong communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
Education:

Advanced degree in Life Sciences/Medicine (PhD, PharmD, MD) for R&D.

English (all interactions and reports are managed in English).
