Job Details:
Position: Officer / Sr. Officer / Executive / Sr. Executive
Department: Quality Control – Microbiology
Location: Moraiya, Gujarat
Experience: 2 to 5 years (Minimum 2 PMS cycles completed at Zydus if internal candidate)
Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Microbiology
Reporting To: Microbiology Head
Employment Type: Probationer – HO Staff
Key Responsibilities:
| Key Task | Description |
|---|---|
| Water Sampling & Analysis | Microbial testing of purified water, WFI, clean steam, RO & borewell water |
| Environmental Monitoring | Monitoring of utilities and lab environments |
| Instrument Handling | Operation and calibration of pH meter, TOC analyzer, Vitek-2, colony counter, autoclave, etc. |
| Sterile Media Prep | Preparation of sterile media and conducting growth promotion tests |
| Microbiological Testing | Bioburden testing, membrane filtration, swab analysis, personnel monitoring |
| Validation Studies | Validation of methods, disinfectants, water loops, and raw/finished products |
| Documentation | Follow SOPs and maintain GMP compliance in test reporting |
Required Skill Set:

Proficiency in microbiological analysis techniques

Ability to calibrate and operate microbiology lab instruments
