Job Summary:
Monsoon Bounty Food Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Technologist to ensure product quality and food safety compliance across our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control within the food manufacturing sector, preferably with experience in seafood processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes during all stages of production.
• Conduct random and scheduled quality checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
• Ensure production processes align with FSSAI, ISO 22000, and company-specific food safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene protocols across the facility in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to prevent quality issues and improve processes.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related non-conformities, deviations, and customer complaints.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation and reports, including batch records and inspection reports.
• Participate in internal audits and support external inspections and certifications.
• Provide training to production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in food processing/manufacturing.
• Experience in seafood processing is highly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of FSSAI regulations, GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
