individuals to a contractual position as Project Manager under the project “Setting up Early Translation Accelerator (ETA)” at BBB. The project aims to transform academic discoveries in industrial Biotechnology into economically viable ventures and technologies with commercial and societal impact.About the Role
The candidate will manage the BIRAC-funded Early Translation Accelerator (ETA) project. This initiative focuses on transforming academic research in industrial biotechnology into commercially viable technologies with real-world impact.
Position Details:
Post: Project Manager
Monthly Emolument: Up to Rs. 90,000/-
Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Life Sciences
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing life sciences R&D or translational projects
- Proven project management skills, preferably in bioprocess, biopharma, or biotherapeutics domains
- Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams in research/industry settings
Desirable:
Exposure to technology commercialization or the startup ecosystem in biotech
Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years (as of closing date); relaxable as per GoI norms
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of the ETA project.
- Scout for potential technologies in the specific domain.
- Collaborate with external organizations and stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient use of project resources.
- Manage comprehensive documentation on project progress.
Terms and Conditions:
- The contract is initially for six months, and it is extendable up to two years as per requirement.
- Performance evaluation will determine contract continuity.
- Full-time commitment to the position is mandatory.
