Job Description
In this multidisciplinary and multi-institutional project, the selected candidate is expected to take initiative in constructing protein interaction networks, modeling protein complexes, and characterizing them using state-of-the-art docking and MD simulations. The candidate will also identify binding sites for peptide derivatives and small molecules using leads from synthetic chemistry labs.
Eligibility Criteria
Motivated computational biologists and bioinformaticians with a PhD in relevant areas are encouraged to apply. Extensive knowledge of databases, protein structure-activity relationships, and pathways, as well as an understanding of protein networks and gene relationships, is required. The ability to code and extract information is mandatory. Knowledge of medicinal chemistry is desirable.
Tenure: Initially for 6 months, extendable up to two years based on performance and funding availability
Salary: Rs. 60,000 per month consolidated
