The National Institute of Immunology, under the BRIC initiative, invites applications for a six-month Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position. This ICMR-funded project focuses on structure-guided engineering of a viroporin-defective Chikungunya virus strain to develop a live-attenuated vaccine. Qualified researchers with experience in molecular biology and immunology are encouraged to apply before 24 June 2025 for the online walk-in interview scheduled for 26 June 2025.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in MSc and qualified for the NET examination, such as CSIR, DBT, ICMR, etc. Candidates must have at least three years of research experience in a reputed institute OR a PhD.
Desirable:
Must have at least two publications in an internationally reputed journal. Must know the area of cell signaling and viral immunology.
Job Description:
Must have basic expertise in biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology techniques.
Emoluments:
Rs. 56,000/- per month plus 30% HRA (As per norms of the funding agency)
