Post Description
Pay Scale Pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100(PB-3) plus 5400(Grade Pay). Revised Pay Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500) in the pay matrix of 7th CPC. Total emoluments (excluding HRA & TA) will be Rs. 56100/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately.
Age Not exceeding 35 years for General/EWS/SC category candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for ST category and 38 years for OBC category candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto Five years as per instruction/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)
A. Educational-
Master of Science/Masters in Veterinary Science Degree in Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology from a recognized University or Institute.
B. Experience-
Three years experience in manufacturing of human biological products or in research in the field of medical Microbiology or virology or Bio-Chemistry or Immunology.
Note 1. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2. The qualification(s) regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from the community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s): Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Microbiology or Immuno-Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.
Duty(ies): The incumbent of the post has to shoulder and share the responsibility of planning of Manufacturing, Research & Development activities in the division. The post is executive in nature and is responsible in successful planning and its implementation as per cGMP requirement.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
