Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze and review patient medical records for precise code assignment.

Follow established ICD-10 guidelines and stay updated on new coding standards.

Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Use coding software and tools to ensure accurate documentation.

Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.

Participate in training programs and stay current on healthcare regulations.

Follow all company policies regarding shifts, transfers, or remote work arrangements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a medical science or related field such as Life Science, and Bioscience
- Good knowledge of medical terminology basics
- Good knowledge of anatomy and physiology basics
- Proficient in ICD-10 guidelines and their implementation
- Ability to review medical records accurately for completeness and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- AAPC/AHIMA Certification
- Experience in Risk Adjustment coding
