Applications are invited for the following position within the project titled “Rational Designing and Engineering of fluorescent, Specifically Targeted Antimicrobial Peptides (STAMPs) and evaluation of their antifungal, anti-virulence, and antibiofilm potential against drug-resistant fungal Pathogens”:
Job Description:
Essential qualification:
1. First-class postgraduate degree in any stream of Biological Sciences or a Relevant Subject, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years of experience or a PhD in Biological Sciences or a Relevant Subject.

3. For Engineering – First-class graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology or a Relevant Subject with three years of experience.
Desirable:
1. Research publications in the relevant field.
2. Knowledge of working in Infectious Diseases (Bacterial/ Fungal), Antimicrobial Compounds, and Nanotechnology/ Nanomedicine/ Nanobiotechnology.
Candidates should submit a brief (about 1 page) summary of their research work and a copy of their detailed CV (with names and email contacts of three referees) along with the application in hard copy.
Salary: As per ICMR norms (INR 67000 p.m. plus HRA as permissible)
The position is co-terminus with the project and will be appointed purely temporarily, initially for one year, extendable based on performance.
