Post: Junior Research Fellow (01 position)
Project Title: “Development of bi-modal transvaginal probe and evaluation of its diagnostic accuracy for a non-invasive AI-based detection of preinvasive cervical lesion in comparison to standard colposcopy in screen positive patients’’
Funding Agency: SERB CRG
Project Duration: Initially 6 months (extendable up to 2 years)
Salary: ₹37,000 + 18% HRA = ₹43,660/month

Location: Skill Lab, 1st Floor, WCH Building, JIPMER, Puducherry.
Work Responsibilities:

Image processing using OpenCV and scikit-image (Python)

Developing CV models for image classification, segmentation, detection

Applying AI/ML algorithms to identify suspicious regions

Biostatistics analysis (PCA, AUC, etc.)

Manuscript writing for publication
Eligibility:
Essential: PG in Basic Science or PG/Graduate in Professional Course with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or equivalent national test.
Desirable:
- Research experience in clinical data, image analysis, and publication record
- Willingness to travel to IIITDM Chennai
