The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore is inviting applications for the position of Project Technical Support – III in an ICMR-funded research project focused on the simultaneous diagnosis of Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) and Hepatitis A Virus (HAV). Objectives of the Project
ICMR-Funded Research Project Title:
“Development and delivery of ready-to-commercialize indigenously developed PoC-ICT for simultaneous diagnosis of HEV & HAV in a single strip and establishment of Integrated Hepatitis Management Sites (IHMS) in North-East and Central
India for identification of circulating HAV & HEV genotypes and devising interventions towards achieving goals of the National Viral Hepatitis Control Program.”The main aim of the project is to develop an LFA-based diagnosis of HEV & HAV. The proposed studies include molecular cloning, protein expression, Ag-Ab reactions, ELISA, and LFA development.

Eligibility
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (with valid GATE) / M. Tech. Degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences, OR in any other science stream.
- Desirable: Candidates with experience in cloning, expression, and purification of proteins, protein characterization, and crystallization are encouraged to apply. CSIR / UGC/ DBT-JRF fellowship holders preferred.
