13. Role: Senior Officer (INR 60000-180000) / Assistant Manager (INR 70000-200000)- Bio Process(Molecular / Synthetic Biology)

Work experience:

Hands-on experience of isolation, characterization and advanced analysis of DNA/RNA/proteins of various microorganisms/isolates; analysing metabolic pathways and improving the metabolic flux through identified pathway; devising new strategies for genetic engineering of various microorganisms; preparation of DNA constructs/vectors required for the introduction of new metabolic pathways, enzymes, metabolites, etc. into various target microorganisms; characterization of various enzymes and determining their kinetics; protein engineering to improve their physicochemical or kinetic properties, etc.

Job description:

• Undertake research and initiate new projects in the areas of synthetic biology and molecular biology, especially related to the introduction of new metabolic pathways for producing various enzymes, biochemicals of interest, and other areas as mentioned above.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of lab equipment
• Operation of sophisticated equipment, and data analysis
• Carry out operations in shifts.
• Maintain and operate the R&D facilities as per best safety practices and protocols.

14. Role: Senior Officer (INR 60000-180000) / Assistant Manager (INR 70000-200000)- Bio Process (Industrial Bio Technology)

Work experience:

Hands-on experience of optimization of media composition and bioprocess parameters to ensure maximal microbial growth and production of enzymes/metabolites, scale-up of shake-flask level microbial operations to lab and pilot-scale bioreactors, development of processes for extraction/purification of metabolites/enzymes from fermentation broth, evaluation of carrier materials/stabilizers etc. and developing various formulations as per requirement.

Job description:

• Undertake research and initiate new projects in the areas of bioprocess development for producing various enzymes/biochemicals of interest, and their scale-up to pilot levels.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of lab equipment
• Operation of sophisticated equipment, and data analysis
• Carry out operations in shifts.
• Maintain and operate the R&D facilities as per best safety practices and protocols.
• Conduct trials at other locations

15. Role: Senior Officer (INR 60000-180000) / Assistant Manager (INR 70000-200000)- (Bio Informatics & Computational Biology)

Work experience:

• Hands-on experience of analyzing genomic and proteomic data of selected microorganisms, 3D structures of DNA and proteins using various techniques and tools, analysing biomolecular interactions and devising strategies to modify these, developing algorithms, performing statistical modelling and data visualization, etc.
• Hands-on experience of modelling of various metabolic pathways in the cell, and simulation of bioprocesses and reactors/fermenters will be an added advantage.

As mentioned in Shortlisting & Selection Process, candidates for R&D positions are requested to fill in the prescribed format on-line detailing the bibliographic information pertaining to Patents / Publications, journal, impact factor etc. It may be noted that if the details are not provided in the prescribed format, application will be rejected and will not be considered further. It may also be noted that accurate data need to be provided in all the columns in the prescribed format”.
d. The email id and mobile number provided in online application should remain valid for at least one year. Candidates must use proper e-mail ids created in their names. Applications with pseudo / fake email ids will attract appropriate action under the law.
