Job Role: Research Assistant (Entry-Level)
Location: Pune, India
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred
Interview Mode: In-person only (Pune or nearby residents preferred)
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000/month (Freshers); higher for experienced candidates as per industry standards
Join Verity Vet Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., a specialized veterinary diagnostic and research laboratory at the forefront of molecular and serological diagnostics for animals and poultry. We also work extensively in molecular pharmacology and vaccine research. As we expand our Molecular Biology Team, we are looking for passionate freshers or early-career professionals ready to contribute to impactful research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain lab inventory and supplies
• Prepare reagents, buffers, and label them accurately
• Assist in sample preparation and assay setup
• Conduct Nanodrop analysis for DNA/RNA quality
• Support PCR and Real-Time PCR processes
• Perform agarose gel electrophoresis and document results
• Ensure lab cleanliness and hygiene
• Maintain proper documentation and update inventory logs
Qualifications & Skills:
• M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related field
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience (freshers encouraged to apply)
• Basic knowledge of PCR, ELISA, electrophoresis, or microbial
• Familiarity with SOPs and lab documentation
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized team player
