Location: Moga, Punjab, India
Role: Production Officer
Qualification: Btech – (Food Technology/ Dairy from top institutes)
Experience: 1-4 yrs in Dairy Industry
Key Responsibilities
Product Manufacture
-
Generate and issue instructions to the factory floor and facilitate their execution by allocating resources.

Cascade and execute production plans; adjust activities based on real-time assessments to optimize manpower, material, and machine usage as Production Officer.

Plan, coordinate, and follow up on maintenance (routine, periodic, CIP, and shutdown activities).

Control production costs through efficient resource management while ensuring safety and quality.
Compliance
-
Ensure product/process compliance and regulatory adherence by issuing instructions and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).

Promote workplace safety and effective communication of Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols as Production Officer.
Data Management / Systems
-
Measure, analyze, and control line performance and labor variance using digital tools.

Monitor and manage raw/pack material and energy usage variances.
Continuous Improvement
-
Review process failures and drive continuous improvement through proposal assessments and implementation.

Collaborate with other departments on trials, product development, and technical projects as Production Officer.

Prepare and contribute to standard audits (HACCP, ISO, GMP, etc.).
Knowledge Management and People Development

Coach and mentor team members to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Train teams on manufacturing processes, technologies, and SOPs.

Provide performance feedback based on principal accountabilities and behavioral competencies as Production Officer.

Ensure clear two-way communication between management and shop floor.
Technical Skills

Knowledge of manufacturing/filling-packing operations and best practices

Understanding of total production cost components and influencing factors

Familiarity with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality systems as Production Officer

Awareness of statutory, company, and factory standards and procedures

Understanding of health, safety, and environmental principles

Effective verbal and written communication
