Executive Biotechnology Job 2025 – Job Overview:
Sun Pharma is seeking a highly skilled Executive in Biotechnology to join its Research and development team. The selected candidate will focus on developing Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)- based methods and leading analytical characterization for biologics, including monoclonal antibodies and peptides. This role demands precision, innovation, and a deep understanding of protein therapeutics and biosimilar development.
Executive Biotechnology Job 2025- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop SPR-based methods to determine kinetic and equilibrium binding constants for protein and peptide products
- Perform analytical method qualification for all pipeline products
- Characterize innovator product batches from various global regions and define quality target product profiles
- Conduct analytical similarity assessments for in-house products
- Prepare detailed Method Development Reports (MDR) and Analytical Test Procedures (ATP)
- Maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in all lab operations
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain SPR instrumentation and related analytical equipment
- Manage lab inventory, including chemicals, consumables, and critical reagents
- Perform routine instrument calibration and resolve performance issues
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Strong background in analytical method development and qualification
- Deep understanding of structural and functional characterization of therapeutic proteins
- Experience in biosimilarity assessment for regulated markets is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with analytical development for monoclonal antibodies and peptides
