JNCASR Job Opening: DBT Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
JNCASR invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on “Elucidating the role of lysosomal hydrolase trafficking in health and disease” under the guidance of Prof. Ravi Manjithaya at the Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit, JNCASR, Bengaluru.

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/ Post Graduate
degree
a.) Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test- CSIRUGC NET, including lectureship and GATE
b.) The selection process through the National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions, such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, advanced skills in fluorescence
microscopy and related techniques such as immunofluorescence, live cell
imaging, image analysis, and statistics; extensive expertise in molecular
biology techniques and biochemical techniques, such as western blotting and
immuno-precipitation
Desirable Qualifications: Interest and knowledge in intracellular infection in
mammalian cell culture. Preference will be given to candidates with prior
research experience and good communication and presentation skills. The candidate
should be a team player.
