Welcome to CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (CIMAP)! We are a research center under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research located in Bengaluru. We are currently looking to engage Project Associates on a temporary basis for various projects at our CIMAP Research Centre. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with 2 years of
relevant experienceDesirable Qualification: Experience in plant tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, and plant genome editing
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
Post II
Project Associate-I/II
No. of Positions: 1
Maximum Age: 35 years
Essential Qualification:
For Project Associate-I: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry
For Project Associate-II: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with 2 years of relevant experience
Desirable Qualification: Working experience in Molecular Biology
Monthly Emoluments:
- For Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
- For Project Associate-II: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
Date, Place, and Time of Interview:
10 June 2025 at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru (Reporting time: 9 AM)
Terms & Conditions:
- Engagement: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements
- Tenure: Co-terminus with the project, not to exceed six years
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of India Rules
- Leave Policy: As per the rules
- Experience Requirement: Counted from acquiring the minimum educational qualification
