Essential Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Neurosciences/ Lifesciences/ Physiology / Zoology / Biochemistry/ Bioengineering/ Biophysics/ Biotechnology /Psychology and Ph.D. in the relevant field as advertised. The Candidate(s) applying for the post(s) must have independent research competence as proven by publication records. (in WoS/Scopus journals) in the relevant field.
Desirable Qualification:
Post -doctoral experience, teaching, supervising/training students in research, and sanctioned independent projects, which can be transferred to AMITY, if selected, will attract additional credit.
Job description and requirement:
Regular classroom teaching to Undergraduate and Post-graduate students. Conducting research and supervising Ph.D. and other research scholars. The candidate should be able to bring in extramural research grant for one’s research. This University encourages collaborative research with mutual benefit.
Positions are available in the following core and allied research areas:
- Neurophysiology/electrophysiology/Neurobiophysics.
- Neuroanatomy (macro and or Micro) with strong research base using molecular and immune-histochemistry.
- Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology.
- Neuro-Cognitive/Behavioural Biology.
- Neurochemistry with in-silico modelling/synthetic biology.
- Computational neurobiology/Mathematical modelling.
- Neuroendocrinology.
- Evolutionary/Socio Neurobiology.
- Neurogenetics/Disease neurobiology.
Candidates must have obtained essential qualifications from recognized University/institution of national/international repute.
