Qualifications:
• M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or Genetics.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a diagnostic lab focused on molecular infectious diseases.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in DNA & RNA extraction from clinical samples.
• Skilled in PCR and RT-PCR for infectious disease detection.
• Experience handling infectious clinical specimens under biohazard conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nucleic acid extraction and amplification for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform PCR/RT-PCR assays and assist in result interpretation.
• Operate molecular diagnostic platforms with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
• Comply with laboratory SOPs, biosafety protocols, and quality control procedures.
• Support assay validation, troubleshooting, and continual process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams for coordinated diagnostic services.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and data security.
