Responsibilities for Senior Pharmaceutical Analyst Role:

Content Production:

• Define future content priorities with Therapy Area Director

• Monitor news for events impacting covered therapeutic areas

• Author original healthcare industry analysis for Datamonitor Healthcare and Biomedtracker

• Identify commercial challenges and opportunities for Pharmaceutical

• Use data from primary/secondary sources, Citeline solutions

• Attend and report on scientific conferences

• Create insights for Quarterly Outlook reports

• Lead thought leadership activities (webinars, white papers)

• Deepen understanding of drug development and regulatory processes

Written Analysis:

• Write clear, well-structured content in business English for Pharmaceutical

• Apply house style and pyramid writing principles

• Ensure content is client-ready with minimal edits

Primary Research:

• Design and conduct interviews with key opinion leaders (KOLs) for Pharmaceutical

• Discuss pipeline drugs, treatment trends, and unmet needs

• Prepare transcripts and design Skipta platform discussion topics

Time Management:

• Plan content independently using past experience

• Prioritize tasks and communicate delays if any

• Manage multiple deadlines effectively for Pharmaceutical

Client Support:

• Provide data support via Ask the Analyst service

• Defend published analysis and methodologies

• Participate in sales meetings and training for Pharmaceutical

• Understand Citeline solutions and direct clients accordingly

Team Support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Support Insights, PR, and marketing teams

• Cover for teammates during absences

• Share insights and methodologies with peers

• Train junior analysts and provide feedback

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related for Pharmaceutical

• 3–4 years’ experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare consulting

• In-depth knowledge of drug development and pharma markets

• Experience in project management and independent work

• Skilled in presenting and defending data

• Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus

• Excellent English writing and communication skills

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative

• Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, macros)
