Job Description
- Handle and efficiently distribute various samples received for microbiological analysis.
- Maintain a detailed and accurate logbook for comprehensive sample tracking.
- Ensure the consistent housekeeping and organization of the Microbiology lab.
- Oversee the inventory management of microbiological media, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Proficiently handle and prepare microbial cultures for analysis.
- Conduct water sampling and perform thorough analysis.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, label, and efficiently distribute incoming samples for microbiological testing in compliance with laboratory protocols.

Maintain comprehensive records in a sample tracking logbook, ensuring traceability and accuracy of data.

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization within the microbiology laboratory at all times.

Oversee the inventory management of microbiological media and laboratory consumables, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Skillfully handle microbial culture preparation and execute various microbiological tests as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Conduct routine water sampling and microbiological analysis, ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality norms.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) or Master’s (M.Sc.) degree in Microbiology or a related discipline.

Prior experience in a microbiology or pharmaceutical quality lab is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and laboratory best practices.
