us.Responsibilities of Scientific Editor Job
- Proofread and copyedit deliverables (complex documents)
- Apply checklists for each deliverable and ensure consistency between the base file and final output
- Review and edit content for language, spelling, grammar, word choice, and formatting
- Review content for writing quality, client-appropriate style, and scientific accuracy
- Assist in asset development for internal training and knowledge documentation
- Review work done by copy editor/junior associates
- Review deliverables of copy editor/junior associates and provide feedback
- Guide copy editors/junior associates on client requirements and quality aspects
- Process adherence and compliance
- Adhere to organizational, divisional, and client-related policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and copyright rules for various deliverables
- Follow security rules and standards such as ISMS, ISO, CMMI, and client guidelines
