Research Assistant Job at PI Position Purpose
The role supports micro plot field trials, greenhouse operations, and lab experiments, assisting research scientists in pesticide and crop protection studies.
Key Responsibilities of Research Assistant Job at PI
Field Trials:

Conduct microplot field trials for pesticides, fungicides, and nematicides.

Implement best agronomic practices and follow spray schedules.

Label treatments and assist with insect or pathogen applications.

Record quality data and manage hazardous waste according to guidelines.
Greenhouse Operations:

Plan, manage, and execute nursery operations and produce pest-free seedlings.

Maintain records for seed sowing, transplanting, and delivery timelines.

Plan material purchases (seeds, nutrients, equipment) in advance.

Ensure pest control and safe disposal of hazardous materials.

Maintain greenhouse hygiene, safety standards, and nursery stock registers.
