Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Research and Development (R&D) Specialist to join our team. The R&D Specialist will be responsible for developing new products, improving existing processes or products, and contributing to the company’s innovation strategy. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, problem-solver, and has a strong background in scientific research and product development.
Key Responsibilities for R&D:
- Conduct research to develop new products, technologies, or processes.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and report findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to launch.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform development strategies.
- Improve and optimize current products or processes based on feedback, testing, or cost-efficiency for R&D.
- Prepare technical documentation, including reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions if needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist in intellectual property development and patent documentation where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science).
- 2+ years of experience in a research or product development role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in lab techniques, data analysis tools, or R&D software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or advanced degree in a specialized area.
- Experience with regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP).
- Project management experience.
