What makes the role meaty?
Quality Control & Inspection:
- Assist in conducting quality checks on Live animal.
- Monitor compliance with food safety standards and company SOPs.
- Perform organoleptic and physicochemical testing of raw and processed products.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Support in maintaining quality records and documentation as per FSSAI and internal standards.
- Assist in preparing reports on quality deviations and non-conformances.
Hygiene & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation protocols across production and packaging units.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in quality practices and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the QA team on continuous improvement projects
What makes the role meaty?
- Graduation or Post-graduation in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP)
- Familiarity with quality control and testing procedures in the meat industry is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting
