Position: Project Associate-I (Post no. 13-16)
No. of Vacancies: 4
Qualifications Required for Project Associate-I Role:
Essential Qualification: Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Natural, Agricultural, or Pharmaceutical Sciences/ MVSc/ Animal Sciences OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post no. 13: Experience in microbial genomics and metagenomics.
- Post no. 14: Minimum one year of experience in basic immunological/microbiological/molecular biology techniques such as FACS, ELISA, and cell-based culture.
- Post no. 15: Experience in working with infectious agents and basic bacteriology.
- Post no. 16: Experience in handling microbes, identification, characterization, and preservation will be an asset. Knowledge and exposure to molecular biology techniques, such as DNA isolation and PCR, will also be an asset.
Age Limit and Emoluments:
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Relaxation in Age Limit: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates
Monthly Emoluments:
- For qualified candidates: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA.
- For others: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA.
