We are currently looking to engage qualified candidates for the position of Project Associate-I (PAT-I) on a temporary contractual basis for the project “Evidence Based Research on Arecanut and Human Health” (GAP-656) at the Department of Plantation Products, Spices & Flavour Technology in Mysuru, Karnataka.

Emoluments: ₹25,000/- + 20% HRA per month

- Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology

Desirable Experience: Cell culture or animal handling (evidenced by publications/thesis)

- Job Responsibilities:

Literature review and scientific experimentation

Data collection and analysis

Quality assurance and report preparation

Support activities as assigned by the Principal Investigator

- Important Notes:
- The engagement period is extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
- Applicants should not have worked for more than 6 years in CSIR labs/institutes as Project Staff.
- Age relaxation is applicable for certain categories.
