Project Title: Evaluation of the spatial ecology of Tie2-activated myofibroblastic-CAFs as a potential target against aggressive oral cancer

Project Description:
The project will analyze spatial arrangements of Tie2-activated CAFs at single-cell resolution in oral tumors, correlating spatial profiles with patient prognosis. Small-molecule inhibitors against Tie2 will also be tested using in vitro and in vivo models to evaluate therapeutic impact.

Consolidated Remuneration (Per Month):

₹31,000 + 24% HRA for candidates selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including LS) / GATE / national level exams

₹25,000 + 24% HRA for other candidates
Essential Qualifications:

Postgraduate degree in Natural Sciences OR
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine

Maximum age limit: 35 years (as of application deadline)
Relaxations:

5 years for SC/ST/Women/PwD

3 years for OBC (NCL)
Desirable Qualifications:

Proven experience with single-cell and bulk transcriptome data analysis

Experience with mammalian cell culture
Nature of Duties:

Conducting day-to-day research in molecular biology and biotechnology

Handling human tissue samples from clinical collaborators
