About the Position The Computational Medical Technology (CMT) Lab at IIT Bombay, under the leadership of Prof. Deepak Agrawal, is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. We are seeking a highly motivated, interdisciplinary researcher passionate about advancing medical devices, healthcare technology, and clinical innovation through applied research. This role is ideal for recent PhD graduates eager to contribute to cutting-edge biomedical research, working at the intersection of engineering, data science, and medical technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research in the development and evaluation of medical technologies and healthcare systems.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects in biomedical instrumentation, signal processing, device prototyping, or healthcare informatics.
- Translate theoretical models into practical medical device solutions or software applications.
- Engage in collaborative publishing, conference presentations, and technology transfer initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines:
- Biomedical
- Data Science
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Mechanical
- Physics
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated research experience in the biomedical domain.
- Candidates with backgrounds in wet lab/molecular/material sciences are not eligible.
Preferred:
- Candidates who completed their PhD within the last two years.
