Name of the post: SCIENTIST D (MEDICAL/NON-MEDICAL)

Salary: Rs. 78,000 + HRA
Job Description
• To support & execute the on-going & new programs of RRC and to provide leadership and managerial strength in the R&D studies in the area of HTA research.
• Responsible for the scientific, and/or technical aspects of the implementation of HTA projects of the RRC.
• Invitation of applications/proposals from the States/Medical Colleges/Institutions for HTA studies.
• Submission of the proposals for recommendations of the Technical Appraisal Committee.
• Seeking any clarifications from the States/applicants on various issues/points.
• Submission of proposal along with the recommendations to the committees.
• Contribute to drafting official reports, including summaries of workshops and events.
• Conducting of Workshops/seminars and meeting etc.
• Senior Scientific Staff will be coordinating the Activities of RRC.
• Any other work assigned by the RRC.
Non-Medical Essential Qualification
• Ph.D degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology subject from a recognized University with 5 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after Ph.D.
Or
• First class MPH/ Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) / Master’s degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 8 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st Class Master’s Degree.
Or
• Second class M.Sc/MPH + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 8 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject post qualification. Plus 2 years’ experience in the management of R & D projects in a team effectively.
Desired Qualification
• Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized Institute(s).
• Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management.

Job Description
• To support & execute the on-going & new programs of RRC and to provide leadership and managerial strength in the R&D studies in the area of HTA research.
• Responsible for the scientific, and/or technical aspects of the implementation of HTA projects of RRC.
• Invitation of applications/proposals from the States/Medical Colleges/Institutions for HTA studies.

• Seeking any clarifications from the States/applicants on various issues/points.

• Junior staff will be providing supportive role for all the HTAIn work in RRC.
• Any other work assigned by the RRC.
Non-Medical Essential Qualification
• M.Sc. Life science/ MPH/MHA/M. Pharma (Masters of Pharmacy) /Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) with 4 years of experience in relevant area.
Desired Qualification
• Ph.D. degree Microbiology/ Biochemistry / Biotechnology subject from a recognized University with 2 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject.
• Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.

- Interested and eligible candidates should send duly filled application form affixing recent passport size photograph along with self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and experience should be sent to [email protected] on or before 5:00 PM before 2nd June 2025.
- Qualification and experience should be in relevant discipline/ field and from a reputed institution/ organization recognized by relevant authority.
- Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/ experience does not guarantee selection.
- The appointment will be made on the basis of results of interview / personal discussion through video conferencing mode.
- Late received applications will not be considered. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview/video conferencing, no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Incomplete applications, without photograph or without copies of relevant certificates will not be entertained.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview/video conferencing. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be disqualification.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview personal discussion and / or video conferencing after verification of essential qualification and experience.
- HRA is 30% as per IISc norms.

(8) Candidates should submit all certifications/testimonials in original for verification. Candidates who fail to bring the original certificates will not be allowed to report to duty.
