Microbiology Job at Licious – Key Responsibilities:

Perform microbiological testing of food, water, and environmental samples following SOPs.
-
Conduct chemical analyses relevant to food quality and safety standards.

Prepare culture media, reagents, and food/environmental samples for laboratory testing.
-
Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instruments like autoclaves, incubators, hot air ovens, biosafety cabinets, etc.
-
Maintain clean, accurate lab records in line with ISO, NABL, and FSSAI guidelines.

Analyze test data, prepare reports, and present results to the food safety and operations team.

Assist in troubleshooting lab issues and contribute to internal audits.

Ensure Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and adherence to safety protocols.
Microbiology Job at Licious – Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology with a Chemistry background.

1–4 years of experience in food or environmental testing labs.

Familiar with microbiological methods such as:

Total Plate Count
-
Yeast & Mold
-
Coliform & Pathogen Detection
-
-
Prior experience in ISO-certified or NABL-accredited laboratories.

Working knowledge of FSSAI, IS/ISO guidelines.

Proficient with lab software, MS Office, and detailed documentation.
