Job Overview:
As a Medical Writer II-CDS at Fortrea, you will take the lead in preparing critical clinical study protocols, comprehensive clinical study reports (CSRs), and other essential clinical documents. Your responsibilities will involve the interpretation of complex clinical, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and statistical results. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of these documents to our valued clients
.Summary of Responsibilities:
- Independently prepare clinical study protocols and clinical study reports (CSRs), including the accurate interpretation of clinical data and statistical findings.
- Assist in the development of more complex clinical documents under the guidance of senior team members.
- Lead the project management and coordination of narrative-related projects, ensuring efficient workflows and timelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and relevant industry guidelines throughout the writing process.
- Actively participate in both internal team meetings and external client meetings, providing valuable insights and expertise.
- Mentor and provide support to junior medical writers, contributing to their professional growth and development within the team.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Possess a first-degree in life sciences or an equivalent qualification.
- An advanced degree (PhD or Masters) is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable medical writing experience within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English, with a strong focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Thorough knowledge of ICH guidelines and medical/scientific terminology.
